Action/pRayer/Responsibility/One True God/Warrior/Service
RVCS ARROWS is a parent organization that sponsors several fund-raising events throughout the school year. The money raised at these events is used to provide resources from the Christian Learning Center, theme t-shirts, technology, classroom supplies, and educational materials.
RVCS ARROWS events include:
- Pop Can Collection - Iowa 5-cent refund aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles may be brought to the collection shed located behind the school building. This project continues all year round.
- Puffin/Pizza Sales - Puffins come in a variety of flavors. Pizza flavors include Pepperoni and Italian Sausage.
- Soup Supper - Come enjoy a delicious hot meal in the school gym. The menu includes soups, sandwiches, and homemade pies. A free-will donation is taken. This is held on the first Wednesday in November.
- School Supplies Kits - You can purchase your student's school supply kits (Spring). Limited school supplies are also available from the school office throughout the school year.
- Prayer Warriors - Open to anyone - come to school once a month to pray for students and staff at RVCS. Check the calendar for Friday dates.
- Jog-a-thon - This family-oriented event is held in May. Students seek sponsors for their jogging. A food booth and carnival-type games are available.
- Staff Appreciation Week - Committee members plan a week full of treats/meals for the staff of RVCS, decide on a theme, decorate, bring the treats each day. (May)
- Open House Meal Fellowship - we serve a free-will donation dinner the night of the open house. (August)
- Color Run - this year we are holding a Color Blast 2-mile Fun Run/Walk. (Fall)
- Mom & Muffins / Dad's & Donuts (Feb/March)
- Valentine's Fundraiser (Feb. 2022)

Prayer Warriors
When: The first Friday of every month from 8:30-9:00 am. You can come for 10 min, 30 min, or the whole time - it is totally optional.
Who: Any parent, guardian, grandparent, anyone is welcome.
Where: Conference Room A
Why: We feel it is important to carry on the tradition of praying for our students, staff, and faculty here at RVCS. Prayer is so powerful and we would love to pray for our children and school together. THIS IS totally optional. We will have specific staff and classrooms we will be praying for each month. No RSVP is required, you can just show up. Please join us!
