2nd Grade Teacher Email Phone: 712-476-2615 Hi! My name is Stephanie Elgersma and I have the joy of teaching second grade. I attended Rock Valley Christian, Western Christian and Dordt College as a student. I have been teaching at RVCS for 14 years. I chose to teach at Rock Valley Christian because I want every child who walks in my classroom to experience the joy we can have in learning because of Christ’s work in us. I love helping children discover the gifts God created them with and how they can reflect those gifts in the way they learn and treat other people. I pray for each child in my classroom grows academically, but even more importantly I pray that each child develops a strong foundation for service in Christ’s kingdom. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. My husband’s name is Jeff. We have three daughters named Quincy, Remi and Sydnee. We enjoy camping, riding bike, playing games and being outside!
