My name is Shelli Rens and this will by my first year teaching the 5th-8th Grade Bands at RVCS. I graduated from Augustana College in 2004, taught band for 10 years, and stayed home with my children for 12 years. In my own life, I enjoy using music as a way to continually learn new things, as an emotional outlet, and to praise Him! My hope is that students leave my classroom with similar musical aspirations in their own lives. I look forward to challenging band students to become better musicians, and better people, every day! We are going to have fun learning music together and performing for family and friends.
