My name is Justin Faber. I teach junior high social studies and 7th grade Bible here at RVCS.
I grew up in Sunnyside, Washington where I attended Sunnyside Christian school. In my time at Sunnyside Christian, I was surrounded by great teachers that helped support me and inspired me to follow the Lord’s call for me as an educator. I graduated from Dordt University in the spring of 2021 after completing their teacher preparation program. I then went back to Sunnyside Christian and taught junior high math, Bible, PE, and STEM for four years.
I am now blessed to be a part of the staff here at RVCS. I am happy to be in a school where we are free to proclaim the Gospel to our students every day. Christian education is something that I am very passionate about and overjoyed that the Lord has given me the opportunity to serve in a community that is also passionate about the Godly training of their children. I enjoy teaching social studies as well as Bible for a variety of reasons. The biggest reason is the discussions that I can have with the students. My hope is that through the discussions we have, the material we cover, and the topics we explore my students will see the work of God and be brought closer to Him. Junior high is such an exciting time for students, and I am blessed to be able to walk alongside these students as they grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically.
