Resource Coordinator Email Phone: 712-476-2615 My name is Amy Ver Burg and I am the Resource Coordinator at Rock Valley Christian. With that title, I have the following responsibilities: resource teachers, staff representative for the Christian Learning Center (CLC), monitor of the sensory room, and administrator of standardized tests.
I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA with an elementary education degree along with an early childhood and reading endorsement. This year begins my 24th year of service at RVCS. I have also taught second grade and kindergarten.
I live in Rock Valley with my husband, Dave, and our three children, Joshua, Jacob and Abby. We attend Calvin CRC in Rock Valley. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, gardening, and going to my kids' activities.
I chose to teach at Rock Valley Christian because I am a 100% believer in the importance of Christian Education. I feel very blessed that I love my job, love the students I teach, and love the staff I work with. The Holy Spirit is alive in this school and the results are obvious, He is blessing us!
