In addition to her daily work with students, Amy coordinates school-wide standardized assessments, including FastBridge and ISASP testing.
Amy is a graduate of Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where she earned her degree in elementary education along with endorsements in early childhood and reading. She will be celebrating her 30th year of teaching at RVCS this fall.
Amy and her husband Dave live in Rock Valley and are active members of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. They have three grown children—Joshua, Jacob & his wife Reagan, and Abby. In her free time, Amy enjoys walking, reading, baking, tending to her flowers, and supporting her children whenever needed.
Her deep belief in the value of Christian education led her to teach at Rock Valley Christian. Amy feels truly blessed to love her work, the students she teaches, and the community she’s part of. Through the mountain tops and valleys of life, she remains grateful for God’s constant goodness and provision.
