Principal Email I have just completed my 25th year at RVCS. The first 8 years, I taught Middle School history, Bible, and PE. For the past 17 years, I have served as principal. I currently hold a Masters of Education License and a Professional Administrator License with the State of Iowa.
Pam and I have three children. Pam works for Wireless World. Cassie - just graduated from Dordt University. Jacob is a Freshman at Dordt and Madison is a Junior at Western Christian.
I consider it a privilege to both work at and lead Rock Valley Christian School! It is my hope that we together with the church and home are instilling a Christian Worldview that navigates and leads our students and each one of us all the days of our lives.
One of my favorite verses from the Bible is found in Act 17:26. This reads "From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit all the earth, and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands." I believe that the faculty, staff, and I have been called by God at this time in history, to teach and train the next generation to know and serve the Lord!
I believe that it is not by accident or by chance that our students and families have chosen to attend RVCS. This school is part of God's Plan for their lives. Jeremiah 29:11 reads "For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
